MUSIC TECHNOLOGY LAB (MTL 2057)  

The Music Technology Lab is a classroom with eleven student computer stations and an instructor station equipped with a video projector. Each station consists of a Macintosh Dual 2 GHz PowerPC G5 Desktop computer with DVD-R/CD-RW drive, 17 inch LCD display, Korg Triton MIDI keyboard, and a rack containing a MOTU Firewire 828 mkII audio interface, MOTU Express XT MIDI interface, Lexicon MPX-1 effects processor, and one or more MIDI sound modules. For details on the equipment available at each station, refer to the 2057 Online Manual.

Access to 2057 is controlled via card reader and is limited to students who are taking music technology classes or have obtained access with the permission of a professor. The card reader access lists are maintained by Greg Laman.
