All students who receive School of Music, Theatre & Dance merit-based scholarships are required to participate each semester in one of the ensembles marked with an asterisk (*) or for some jazz degrees (**); doctoral students are exempt.

Open to all, but not recommended for non-music majors because of the extensive rehearsals and performances.
Placement by audition - most selective orchestra. Single screened audition for both this and Philharmonia Orchestra will take place Sept. 3 through Sept. 7. Audition sign-up sheets will be posted by Tuesday, September 1st on the band and orchestra bulletin boards outside the Rehearsal Hall.
