Master of Music in Music Education 2008-2009
The Music Education Department requires that applicants have two years of full-time teaching experience prior to application. Applicants to the MM in Music Education are required to interview with a faculty member of the Department and must audition for the appropriate instrumental/voice faculty if applied lessons and/or ensemble participation is to be elected. Indicate on the application the manner in which you will complete the audition and/or interview.
Applicants must submit a 15-minute video or DVD of teaching in a music classroom with a brief written description of the tape. All materials are due by December 1st. Applicants will then be reviewed and candidates will be invited for campus interviews.
Master of Music in Music Education - Summmer Program 2009
The Music Education department requires that applicants have two years of full-time teaching experience prior to application. Applicants to the MM in Music Education - Summer Program are required to interview with a faculty member of the Department. Indicate on the application the manner in which you will complete the interview.
Applicants must submit a 15-minute video or DVD of teaching in a music classroom with a brief written description of the tape. All materials are due by March 1st. Applicants will then be reviewed and candidates will be invited for campus interviews.
Master of Music in Music Education with Certification 2008-2009
Applicants in music education interested in receiving teacher certification are required to audition for the appropriate instrumental/voice faculty and to also interview with a faculty member of the Department. Applicants choosing to audition at a regional audition site or via CD will complete the process with a phone interview. Indicate on the application the manner in which you will complete the audition and interview.
Specialist in Music in Music Education 2008-2009
