When a degree program is listed as "closed", it means that new applications will not be accepted for consideration. Applications on file prior to the closing date will receive full consideration.

Undergraduate Deadlines
The deadline for receipt of your application materials depends on your audition/interview date. Applicants to programs that require an audition and/or interview should refer to the Auditions page for more detailed deadlines.

Merit scholarship deadline: application materials must be submitted by December 1; audition/interview completed by March 12 or recorded audition submitted by January 15. (All students who meet these deadlines are considered for School of Music, Theatre & Dance merit scholarships; notification letters will be mailed in early April.)
Final application deadline, no scholarship consideration: all materials submitted by January 15; audition/interview completed by March 26 or recording submitted by March 1.
Composition: composition portfolio submitted by December 1.
Performing Arts Technology: portfolio submitted by December 1.
Music Theory/Musicology: writing sample/portfolio submitted at least four (4) weeks prior to interview/audition.
Highly competitive programs may close to new applications at any point after December 1. The School of Music, Theatre & Dance may continue to accept both freshman and transfer applications in programs for which openings still exist, without scholarship consideration.
