Sing, Strum & Create

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to introduce (1) beginning guitar playing through chords and melody, and (2) concepts and processes of creative thinking as experienced through arranging, composing, improvising, and teaching. Emphasis is placed on (1) basic guitar skills; (2) application of those skills through singing, and playing original compositions, improvisations, and arrangements; and (3) acquiring understanding about creative thinking through discussions and experiences.
ADMISSIONS:
Workshops may be taken for graduate credit (NCFD), Continuing Education Units (CEU), or for personal enrichment without college credit.
GRADUATE CREDIT:

If accepted, you will pay for the credit(s) at the appropriate tuition rate (in-state or out-of-state).
