Summer Workshops may be taken as Workshop only, for SB-CEU (State Board - Continuing Education Units) or for Graduate Credit.
SUMMER WORKSHOPS:
Workshops may be taken without earning credit or participants have the option of earning SB-CEUs. To apply, use the yellow links above to display the workshop that interests you. Each workshop page has an online application form. (You will need to print the confirmation page and mail it with your $25 application fee.) If you prefer to use a paper form, print and complete the application form below and forward it to the address shown.

CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS:
The Music Education workshops have been approved by the Michigan Department of Eduucation to offer SB-CEU’s (see the inidividual workshop website for details).
FEES:
Non-refundable Application Fee - $25 (not included in the workshop fee)
Workshop Fee - $450
SB-CEU Fee: $ 25 (optional)
SUMMER WORKSHOPS FOR GRADUATE CREDIT:
Graduate credit is available for most workshops. Workshops may be taken for one or two credits, which can be transferred to another institution's graduate program. A prospective student must apply to the School as "Non- Candidate for Degree" (NCFD) student, and, if accepted, pay for the credit(s) at the appropriate tuition rate (in-state or out-of-state). For further information, contact the Admissions Office at smtd.admissions@umich.edu.
